National Public Health Week 2024
Protecting, Connecting and Thriving: We Are All Public Health
Public health includes all the steps we take to make sure our neighborhoods and environment are free from pollution; ensuring our food and water are safe to eat and drink and in controlling communicable diseases. It’s also the relationships we foster in our communities and among our organizations. When we all come together to support public health, all of us — individuals, families, communities and the public health field — can achieve the goals of public health. We can make Mississippi healthier.
MPHA has chosen to focus on the following themes for the week and has partnered with MSDH, APHA, MSPHI, USM, and many of our expert speaker members to provide both professional development and networking opportunities. You can access each day’s activities, which are all free, using the information on the MPHA NPHW 2024 Flyer.
